•• This year I have strived to create museum experiences that resonate and make emotional connections with our visitors. Two especially strong examples of how I have created those connections include my presentation for the Latin Connection and a tour I gave to the Goodwill of Iowa group. When developing the Latin Connection presentation I focused particularly on Latin and Hispanic people within Wells Fargo history that emphasized through hard work and overcoming difficult situations they could become successful personally and professionally. I chose these types of stories because I wanted to highlight that there is space in Wells Fargo to grow professionally and achieve personal goals just like the people in the stories I selected. I have led or assisted over 20 L&D/CIP tours in the last 8 months that have brought in approximately 400 guests. One way I was able to help my team make these connections was through the creation of a spreadsheet that identified all of the L&D staff in the Des Moines area. This spreadsheet has been used to find new facilitators that our team has yet to work with as wells as keeping track of the partnerships we have already developed. Additionally, I helped Corporate Art Resources produce a spreadsheet of art teachers in the St. Louis Missouri area that would be used for community outreach and art related events. Moreover, I was able to construct a spreadsheet/mailing list of relevant community organizations and non-profits in the Des Moines area in order to promote the museum to external customers as well as develop partnerships in the future. I have started to form a connection with the Robert Ray Society by scheduling them a personalized tour for later next year, which can lead to long term
