Abortion is the ending of pregnancy by removing an embryo or fetus before it can survive outside the uterus. Lots of members of the Catholic Church disagree in the act of abortion because the fetus contains human life. They believe the gift of human life should be respected from the moment of conception. Although abortion is destroying human life, abortion has good aspects. Three good aspects are having fewer unwanted kids, making sure teens will be able to fulfill their life, and finally helping the population of the world go down.

Catholics do not believe in abortion under any circumstances and oppose it in any form. Catholics say that a baby should be loved from the moment of conception. Although the word abortion isn't in the bible there are some ideas that are against abortion in there. First, the bible teaches that human life is different from any other type of life. Human life is special, a gift, and should be loved and cherished forever. "With (the tongue) we bless the Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings who are made in the image of God . . . This ought not be so, brothers" (James 3:9-10). Next, the scriptures completely eliminates the option if killing the innocent. Usually when the bible talking about the killing of innocents it's directed and children, "With (the tongue) we bless the Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings who are made in the image of God . . . This ought not be so, brothers" (James 3:9-10). Finally, the bible teaches that an unborn child is truly a child, who has a relationship with god.
