The American government is associated as being one of the best and most efficient governments in the world. The American government was made by the citizens for the citizens of the United States. That’s why people think that the American government works so well. There are other governments on the other hand, that suppress their citizens. Governments where the citizens have no say in their government and can only let the government do what they want.
Nowadays, many of the characteristics of both the Korean and Japanese cultures are traced back to Chinese influences. China was seen as a model society by growing nations because of large size and historic success in all sectors of the country. North Koreans speaks the Korean language containing some Chinese words and is the recognized language. The ethnicities of North Korea comprises of 99.8% Koreans and 0.2% Chinese. The religion of NK has a long history impacting religion beliefs of North Koreans. Confucianism, Buddhism, Shamanism, Ch’ŏndogyo, and Christianity are the religions that Koreans have been influenced by. The government does not have a ban on religion in their constitution.
Every country has its own cultural values and norms. My native country Nepal and the United States both have their personal beliefs. They both follow their own cultures and traditions and have unique differences in various aspects. American people are more advanced and highly successful whereas, traditional rules, regulations, and beliefs still play the vital role in Nepalese society. Gender equality and freedom are the most significant areas of variation between Nepali and American culture.

Background In China, in order to embody the Confucianism (儒家思想), not only the traditional customs, but also the Chinese table manners are used the social estate system and hierarchy as a principle. Most of the ancient Chinese also had various specific requirements while having the meals. Those manners can determine a person’s status, culture deposit and family upbringing.
North Korea and North America have some trading partners in common fand don’t have trading partners in common. North Korea and North America also may not trade with the same people. I’m going to compare and contrast for the trading partners they have in common and the ones they don’t. North Korea and North america have trading partners in common let me show you them. The world is diverse and filled with so many different types of cultures. Many are specific for a certain country or often seen worldwide. It also depends on their history. For example, Thailand is a unique country with a cultured filled history. They can be compared and contrasted with other cultures, for example,the U.S. culture.
Going over some historical events, like the period of Three Kingdoms on the Korean Peninsula, the author clearly shows how Chinese classics, like the Analects, and Confucian values came to Korea and became adopted. Using this information, the author logically creates a transition to how this effects the leadership and organizational culture in the modern-day Korean Higher Education system. Later, in the paper, the author describes how as the Confucian values became so strongly integrated into the society; the spread of higher education became increasingly widespread for the masses. As higher education was usually only for the socially elite males in Korea, the Confucian value of self-cultivation and rigorous education made it so that many groups donated towards higher education for the masses. To add to this, the paper explains how the Confucian values of everyone having their place in society and position influenced the education system to be extremely hierarchical, especially in regards to age.
I was born and raised up in South Korea for twenty years, and thus I know Korean culture very well. I also understand American culture as well, because I lived and worked with Americans for four years. I decided to choose this topic, because in my experience, I have noticed a lots of differences between Korean culture and American culture; for example how Korean or American treat older people, how Korean or American act in the gym, and about the differences in foods. I picked those subjects because I have experienced the Koreans and Americans side well enough to understand both and I’m currently in South Korea with military men and women. I have Korean friends and American friends spending time together sometimes, and then I can observes differences and similarities.
There are many social groups within South Korea. Some of the social groups are tied together based on common likes or characteristics such as enjoying K-Pop music, sporting activities, social class or political beliefs. Many of the organizations one would see in South Korea are based on these traits, however one organization that stood out was called the Saejowi which is an organization aimed at keeping together the two Koreas. This could be an issue for the launch of our product because it is a United States product being moved into South Korea and this group may boycott the product because of the political differences between the United States and North Korea. Chinese tradition is opposed to individual glorification and considers anyone who desires personal enhancement as a threat to collectivism (Pye, 1982). Chinese are more group-oriented, they value respect and friendship. China is more Egalitarian, meaning that they share power and share authority and spread the authority out evenly. They do not expect all power as some cultures do. Next is Performance orientation, which means when the community encourages and rewards good things done and completed.
In China, knives and forks aren’t popular, chopsticks are used and bowls are picked up off the table. The Chinese eat off their chopsticks and do not cut up food. Presentation of food also differs.
