How Do People Best Respond To Conflict? Back in World War II there was so much world conflict and a lot people under tons of problems from the Jews from people in poverty near bombing locations there has to be some way people responded to that conflict. I think that when people think about World War II they think about the Holocaust, the conflict that killed millions of innocent European Jews, and the leader of Germany at the time Adolf Hitler. One of the most well known stories about the Holocaust was “Anne Frank: A Diary of a Young Girl” and A fable by John Boyne named “The Boy in the Striped Pajamas”. Anne Frank was a very young girl which was one of the many various victims of the Holocaust during World War II; Anne Frank Died in a concentration camp where a whole other lot of Jews got …show more content…

For example in the Story of “Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl” She writes on Wednesday June 21, 1942 “ I heard my name being called. I turned around and there was the nice boy I met the evening before. He asked if I walk with him to school.” Now this might not sound like it's motivating others but if you think deeply about it you can get to the realization that by meeting him the evening before that motivating him to ask her to accompany him to his school. The second reason why resilience allows people to motivate others is through another excerpt from the fable “The Boy in the Striped Pajamas” in which, once again, Bruno motivates Shmuel to eat a piece of chicken by telling him nothing bad will happen not knowing that something bad will actually happen. I’m referencing the same quote from before but that quote has to meanings to me which is why I’m referencing it twice and because that excerpt adds a lot of depth to the story the excerpt is
