Should Candy and Soda be Banned from Schools?
No, I think that candy and soda should not be banned from schools! Frankly I think that this is actually a terrible idea for many logical reasons. Lots of people love soda and candy and they probably get some almost everyday, but they are not obese because of that. Their are lots of other reasons why people could be obese but I know that candy and soda satisfy lots of people. It wouldn’t be fair to the people who hardly get candy at all because they know it is bad for them and then you getting rid of it. That number of people who know that candy and soda is bad and limit that down will shrink down greatly and do you know why, because if the government makes this rule in banning these two things then kids will not learn on their own to make healthy decisions. This is also very good because they are learning how to cook for themselves which will definitely help in the future which does not have to do with obesity but just another factor or them learning how to cook. This is a much easier approach to causing less obesity in the world and I understand that kids probably might not want to take this class but people who are in that class can talk about obesity in the world and talk about how if you join this class you will obviously learn how to cook but healthy food which parents are probably telling their kids that they need to learn to make their own food and kind of put of posters on the wall in their school saying good things about it and probably some things you can learn in there. So why would you do something not necessary to do about taking candy and soda away when you can make more ways to become healthier. Even gym classes are a good way
