Art and sport teach our students teamwork with each other to perform a good show. This is necessary. This also teaches our students that their actions affect those around them, because if one person messes up a thing it affects the whole group. It also connects people by spending time with other people. It is easy to make friends in this activity.

For this semester there will be three coaches, Coach x, Pitching, Coach Barnett Fielding, and Coach X Batting. We have all come from baseball backgrounds and have coached for a combined 10 years. We would like to offer insight into our playing days to better fit you!

Most people know the national pastime of America is baseball, but, where did it originate? It is fascinating that no one is sure where the game of baseball originated. In the early to the mid-1800s, the debate over the origin of baseball was at its highest with varying thoughts on the subject. David Block a baseball historian states in Baseball Before We Knew It: A Search for the Roots of the Game, “The age-old debate over baseball’s ancestry has always been long on bluster and short on facts. Since the earliest days of the game’s prominence in America, writers have been eager to expound upon its origins”.

First home run Crack! The ball flew off the bat and went as high as a bird in the sky. Aaron is a young 11 year old boy who loves playing baseball whenever he can. Every Time that he would step up to the plate he was always swing for the fence and dreamed about hitting the ball over and seeing all the fans cheer as he rounded the bases. All of times Aaron had played he never had home run but was always close sometimes hitting the wall just short of the ball going over it: but today that was about to change.
Being involved in sports teaches vital life lessons that will promote you to overcome challenges you endure in everyday life. The passion and leadership required in the sport of softball reflect the qualities to be successful in my education. My life-long experiences in softball have helped me develop into the person I am today in pursuing my academic career. Through my background of being highly committed to the game, taking on leadership roles and balancing academics with athletics it has prepared me for college. Softball is very meaningful to me and is one of my main commitments.
Baseball I walk my way over to the field and I see my friends Connor and Logan and also someone that I would end up now being best friends with, Dom. The coaches of the were Jeff George Connor's Dad. A stocky guy about six feet tall with a killer mustache the head coach of the team. I stepped in the cage and Doug the other coach Dom's dad. He was over six foot was very experienced when it comes to baseball and coaching, I was happy he was my coach
Professional Baseball has Taken a Turn for the Best “Baseball was, is, and will always be the greatest game in the world,”-Babe Ruth. I would agree with this, but this sport has changed drastically since the first professional baseball team was created in 1869. There are more physical specimens in the league today, the competitiveness of the league has changed, the most importantly, what it seems like what everyone plays for today is the money. First thing, there is just more physical players in the league today than in the late 1800s. “The average height and weight of a player in 1903 was 5’9” and weighed about 178.5lbs, in 2013 the average height and weight was 6’1” and 207 lbs”(Buscheck).
Everyone 's at least broken a bone or injured themselves before right? Well this is one of those tragic stories where I unfortunately injured myself. It all started way back in the 5th grade and all my friends and family know I love & play the game of baseball. The baseball season for the little league I play for is about to begin in about 1-2 weeks.
For a young baseball player one of the highest goals to achieve is hitting a homerun -for me that was all I wanted. I already achieved most of what I wanted in baseball, and one of my proudest was a no-hitter, but it was no home run. When I first realized how bad I wanted this feat was one night after a practice where all we did was just hit. The majority of my teammates hit at least one homerun that practice, but me I hit the fence but never was able to send one over. The car ride home after the practice was horrible, I was a mess.
