The book “To Kill A Mockingbird” was written by Harper Lee and published in 1960. The character “Jean Louise Finch” or “Scout”, tells her life experiences from when she was six years old with the help of her older brother “Jem”. This book clearly shows the faults of African Americans and Caucasians during this time, and the book also clearly shows that the color of someone’s skin can affect how they are defined and treated by people of other races. I would strongly recommend this book to the age group of 14 and up because it teaches people that everyone is equal, to stand up for what is right even if the circumstances are hard, and to think for yourself instead of going by what others think.

The things that may seem like a struggle to you now will soon become easy and you will eventually receive a positive outcome. Atticus being able to deal with everything in court could inspire people to do the same and things could possibly
