Domestic abuse awareness should increase, Our day in age, the world we live in now, domestic violence has gotten worse, On an average, nearly 20 people per minute get physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States. During one year, this equates to more than 10 million women and men.
Domestic Abuse to me is and can be a sensitive topic because I have experienced it by my father hitting the woman he dates, he has even hit me, and domestic abuse should take it more seriously in the world.
1 in 15 children are exposed to intimate partner violence each year, and 90% of these kids are eyewitnesses to this violence, and 1 in 4 women, 1 in 7 men have been victims of severe and physical abuse by an intimate partner in their lifetime.

People and the authority are usually brushed off by domestic abuse and give the abuser's warning's after warning's until something serious happens's to the victim. Nowadays there are organizations for abused victims and hotlines they can call, but most of these women and men can't get to a phone or a computer, or they're scared to say anything because of the fact their abuser will go after them and kill them.
Domestic violence is not a joke, and people shouldn't take it lightly, We need to increase a domestic abuse awareness for woman and men all over the world, they have a voice too, and we just need to help give it to them.
