Nike is one of the biggest sports apparel sellers in the world. They are home to some of the biggest athletes in the world from NBA superstar LeBron James to soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. Nike has made billions off their ability to sell their merchandise from advertisements. Advertisements are supposed to motivate a person to be active to do something or give an individual a need to better themselves. For one to buy into a product they have to be confident what the person is buying is the best product for them. The “Just Do It” slogan was a big time for Nike at the time it was being out sold by reebok in footwear. She appears to be in mid stride of running which is ironic. In the ad it says in bold print “Move More.Move Better” instead of showing shoes Nike in a smaller text promoted their tank top. However, as a customer by them not showing shoes they are still thinking about what shoes she could be wearing. If one was too look at the advertisement they would definitely notice the woman is wearing very small shorts to appear to the male audience. The message is shown just by the company itself when they took over the sports merchandise selling world over reebok,adidas, and others. Before Nike thought just using elite athletes would help selling apparel, but in reality life is about showing results of something. The thought of being able to not only see your favorite athlete working out wearing a pair of nike shoes and doing the same was a big moment for customers. Which isn’t beneficial for everyone who don’t have the money to buy products each time something comes out new. In today's society if you don’t have Nike products you aren’t popular or up to date. The problem with that is when one does get something new from Nike whether to exercise or for fashion the next week something new is released. That only makes the customer feel behind in buying new things.

One thing people don’t realize how deep Nike advertisements affects the culture and society of the generation. Which raises the question is buying new products to feel culturally accepted the reason for debt for Americans in the world? To that question that could be answered pretty easily by just looking at families in underprivileged home areas. But for some reason have money to get new Nike apparel when it is released. New shoes can range from $90-$120 if you go directly to Nike's website. It actually gets worse when one looks for basketball shoes.
