I am impressed by the book, The Maze Runner. At first, I thought it was going to be boring through the whole book until the end where everything happens. But, the book kept a consistent wow factor. It kept you on the edge of your seat the whole time. I also liked how the book was very descriptive. The descriptiveness of a book allows you to picture a scene happening in your mind. The book makes you want to keep reading even after you finished it. I really enjoyed the book! This book is about a boy named Thomas that wakes up in an elevator of some sort. When the elevator comes to light, people are at the top waiting for him and staring at him strangely. He doesn't know where he is and can't seem to remember anything from life before being in the elevator. Of course, his essential response to everything is to be scared. There are doors that close to the maze each night and the maze also shifts at night causing even more confusion on how to get out. No one has ever found an escape. At night, there are things called Grievers that can kill you if you go in the maze after the doors close. Runners run through the maze everyday when the doors open hoping they will someday find a way out and have freedom. No one knows why they're in there, or what it is even about. They just have to go with it because they know they will never have answers. After a few days, the elevator comes up again, but this time, with a girl. They have never gotten a girl in The Glade before and have also never gotten two people in one month. The girl comes with a note that says, "This is the last one." The girl never woke up, but it alive. Thomas starts to thinks he knows her, and people start getting suspicious about
