How games consoles have changed?
The first household sized video games was the brown box. This did not become a big hit as people did not think it was possible to play games on their televisions. It was made in 1967.
The first generation of video games consoles were created between 1972 - 1980
This consisted of Magnavox Odyssey, Ping-O-Tronic, Atari PONG etc. These consoles only really played one game and that was pong. All of these consoles have everything as being wired and most of the controllers were joysticks.

Xbox brought in the xbox kinect this made the ability to use a camera and move around in front of it to control the game more popular. This generation also saw the start of wireless technology with having wireless controllers. During this generation sony made the playstation 3 HD and run blu ray but most people did not have HD televisions at the time.
