In order to create an organization to be lined up, moving in the same direction, and focusing on the same goal, we would need three management systems, which are Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Supply Chain Management (SCM). These three management systems create a link each other, which can be described as :

There are several trends in CRM, which are Operational CRM, Analytical CRM, Collaborative CRM, and Portal Based CRM. All of them could be differentiated by their function and management systems, also from their different goals.

Supply Chain Management (SCM) SCM is the system that make sure you will not having “out of stock” condition, whether it is in your raw material or your products. It connects business processes and suppliers, customers, and business partners. The early SCM method called Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) which is based on exchanging file using standard method, nowdays it is replaced by .xml-based Web services. By using SCM, a company could gain some profits like efficient and effective materials movement between suppliers, customers, and partners. SCM also create more accurate order processing, reductions in inventory levels, less time to market a product, lower transaction and material cost, and also build strategic relationship with suppliers. There are three steps to SCM implementation :
1. Improve internal supply chain processes and relationship with suppliers and customers.
2. Use supply chain software, intranets, and extranets with trading partners.
3. Develop and implement collaborative SCM
