Some people feel that animal testing is safer than human testing but it can be said that humans are safer. One reason is the test that pass on an animal fail on a human. Secondly, when we test on animals we are wasting the time of sick people for non effective test that would work on humans. Lastly, we don’t need animal tests because we have human ways like patient simulators. I strongly believe that animal testing should be stopped and replaced.

First of all, 90 percent of the test we do on animals fail on humans. I was listening to a cancer patient at the grocery store and he said,”I hope that those doctors cure cancer soon and start testing on human test subjects instead of animals because there are wasting my time.” When I heard that I felt so bad because that boy didn’t deserve to be killed by cancer because scientists are wasting time.

Finally, scientists have developed humane ways for testing instead of animal testing where you're destroying their lives. Harvard has created a “organs-on-chips”which mimics the function and structure of organs and organ systems, it can be used in disease research, drug testing, and toxicity testings. Researchers have developed lots of computer models that simulate human biology and progression of developing diseases.

Some people believe that testing products on animals is harmless to them and it's better than testing on humans. But they are wrong because one time Dysport, an anti wrinkle treatment, used a test known as Lethal Dose 50 percent. The test is where they inject scores of mice with a powerful toxin that makes them experience waves of paralysis leading to them slowly suffocating over a 3 day time
