Human Trafficking In The United States Today

In the United States we know what human trafficking is, however we lack the belief that it happens in our own country. “The United States of America ranks as the world’s second largest destination/market country (after Germany) for women and children trafficked for purposes of sexual exploitation in the sex industry.”(Schauer 146). In realistic terms human trafficking does happens in many of our states today. Some individuals when they hear trafficking the right way assume prostitution.
