Family - I am sorry - you’ve heard these words over & over. Folks have said it w/ words, casseroles, hugs & just being here in this church. We hurt for you & ourself today.
Church - thank you for being here to support this incredible family. They are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love & support you’ve shown as friends and as a community. To those who were able to help look for Scott on Thursday Thank you! To the plant that shut down, to those who took off work - there’s no way this side of heaven to know the blessing you were to this family. When so many cars & trucks came over the hill to gather this family knew they were loved!
Each of you who have prayed & are praying - know this: This family feels your prayers & knows that God is sustaining them at this very time.

Today is a very difficult day, It’s beyond what words can describe. We have all emotions - some may feel sadness, anger, frustration or despair. These emotions can leave us w/ many questions. In our world today we expect immediate answers to our questions.
When we have questions and answers are a little slower coming than we’d like, we feel the need to answer them for ourself using our own opinions. While we are entitled to our opinion - realize just because it’s my opinion, my own thoughts don’t make me right, let alone truth. This can be dangerous moving forward.
When we are in the valley of life, when pain & grief are so powerful, it feels physically like a person sitting right next to us, our own opinions & thoughts lack substance to carry us through that valley.
God’s Word and His truth are the only things that offer substance to carry us. God desires for each of us to build a life on His Word and His
