After seven years in management, I am excited for my next challenge to serve as District Manager of a level one district office. I am currently serving in a permanent position as a Group Supervisor in the Louisville, KY Office of Disability Adjudication and Review (ODAR). However, all of my management career prior to March, 2016 has been within Operations. I have been blessed a diverse background serving in a variety of management positions over the last seven years.
I began my career with SSA in February, 2005 as a bilingual Generalist Claims Representative. In February, 2009 I started my management career when I accepted a position as an Operations Supervisor in Clinton, IA. I rapidly began broadening my knowledge base when I accepted a detail assignment serving as an Operations Supervisor in the Lenexa, KS Field Office to assist the management team in dealing with some difficult labor relations issues. While in the LDP, I served as a Financial Management Specialist as part of the Philadelphia Regional Resource Management Team, a Management Program Analyst in the Office of International Operations (OIO), the Assistant District Manager of the Level 1 Field Office in Valrico, FL, and finally as a Group Supervisor in the Tampa, FL ODAR office. Following the completion of the LDP, I accepted a permanent appointment as the Operations Supervisor in the Valrico, FL field office until June, 2015 when I accepted the Staff Assistant position in the Louisville, KY field office.
