When the Ayatollah was not entertaining diplomatic solutions, President Jimmy Carter resorted to a military plan of action. Even though the operation was name Operation Eagle Claw, it is commonly referred to as the Iranian hostage rescue attempt or Desert One, where the entire operation came to a disastrous end.
No, ISIS does not serve the six purposes of government. It does not promote the general welfare, because that would imply that it were a servant to its citizens, but it is not because it does not provide services, such as schools or air filtration, to benefit all or most of its people. Also, they do not work to form a more perfect union, because it does not try to promote linking its people or unify them. Justice is not established because many of its people are mistreated, and justice has come to mean the law is reasonable and fair. To “insure domestic tranquility” is focused on maintaining law and order within its land.
The cult of Isis originated at the time of the Egyptian Old Kingdom. From this time until her acceptance in Rome, the influence of Isis and her meaning changed and grew. During Egypt’s Old Kingdom, Isis’ role was a funerary one. She had a relatively small amount of influence in Egyptian religion, garnering most of what she had from her husband Osiris, god of the dead. Worship of Isis was constricted to funerary rituals.

Social media outlets like Twitter and Facebook act as a vehicle for mobilization and change. Furthermore, the use of Twitter during the Boston Bombing itself revolutionized the way news is gathered and processed, as thousands of users on Twitter tweeted about the events in real time. Thus, social media increases political participation and fosters a more interconnected and involved civil society
Courtney: Political parties are an essential part of the American government system, yet the Constitution does not mention them. The Framers feared these political parties, because they thought of them as factions. Factions are groups of people who fight only for their interests, and not for the common good. They feared a faction would control the government and refuse to protect the rights of the people. ISIS is a harmful faction that branched off of al-Qaeda.
In Saul Levine’s “The Lure of ISIS,” the thesis is that the reason that so many young people seem to be flocking to join radical groups such as ISIS is because they are targeting society’s most vulnerable, and seducing them to join with the promise of fulfillment and purpose in life. The first method of development is cause and effect. One example of this is the promise of fulfillment upon joining ISIS. As we discover in paragraph 4, Donald is “drifting, directionless, ...” After meeting some guys after a rock concert, he learns that his new friends are joining ISIS.

Terrorist network cells embedded around the world today can accomplish their task of terrorist activities much more easily with mobile devices making it more difficult for law enforcement to detect. Even in America, embedded terrorist groups are mobile and travel the nation’s highways in order to recruit, raise funds, purchase resources, conduct surveillance, and ultimately carry-out an attack. In today's hyper-analytical and judgemental culture, everyone has at least one person in their life that hates them. The nemesis can be anyone, a peer, relative, or even a teacher. Whoever they are, it is impossible not to feel like they are always on you and will try do anything to get at you. When thinking about these characteristics, I have come to the conclusion that my despiser happens to be my old soccer coach Brad. I have played soccer for a substantial amount of time, and over the years I've had a variety of coaches, but out of all them
