Not all students desire to graduate, which makes every student differently. Most students that want to graduate, but are not doing good in school, will find a way to get help and succeed. Articles, essays, and a documentary were used to conduct this research about improving student success. Every student learns in a different way and at a different rate than other students. Carol also states, “If we foster a growth mindset in our homes and schools, however, we will give our children the tools to succeed in their pursuits and to become responsible employees and citizens” (26). She suggests that teachers and parents encourage their students to become successful. They can do this by praising them for their effort and dedication. They can also encourage them to do challenges.
