Summary Essay
In the Essay Good as dead written by Jane Campbell is heart touching essay. It depicts the life of approximately 70 percent of high school and graduate students. The main idea of the essay was what we could do for the dead besides thinking about them and praying for them, peaking to the interest of the dilemma that surrounds thinking about them. The writer tells a story of graduate friends, that were no more then friends or nothing more than Facebook friends. The writer implies that she once was at her mother’s house where she received a text on Facebook. The text quotes that one of her friends named by Lucy was dead in a car accident. After a moment of shock she noticed that Brooke sent her the message and thought that Brooke was a liar and thought that maybe her Facebook friend might not have been dead all along.

However just with another glance she thought of why she could possibly lie about her best friend. She thinks that Brooke has always lied to her about the most part of her life which was not socialized on any type of social media and permitted her to exaggerate things as much as she can, which she always did. She was married to a guy in college and it seems from her Facebook stuff that she was spending a happy life in a nice house. In the junior year Lucy took science as an elective and she made up different figures of syndromes and genetics. Once she was looking at her genetics book Lucy came to her and said to her that it was really nice to study them but the writer thought that she might have laughed at her on this situation. Both of them had some nice times with each other at Molly’s house which they stayed at in the summer. And the writer wanted someone else to listen to her half stories. The writer has no friends at college during her graduation. She tried to stay with Lucy and Brooke but there were some abrupt scenarios in between
