Individual Leadership Model Leadership brings an aspect of understanding and compassion to the followers hence contributing effectiveness at the workplace. Besides, as a nurse, it is significant to identify one’s leadership style and ability and thus create an understanding an individual’s strengths and limitations to grow into an effective leader. Moreover, since, the nursing environment have constantly been changing, it is important for the nurse leader to do away with the traditional methods and thus incorporates new leadership models that lead to personal and organizational success. Servant Leadership skills such as relationship motivation, creativity, resourceful and analytical skills are significant in a nursing setup and thus helps in effective healthcare for patients in the organization.

Through, the encouragement and the collaboration that is foster by the positive relationships and communication, employees’ ends up bringing their best skills and potential at work. A leader with relationship motivated leadership puts the needs of the other team members first and ensures issues that arise from personal conflicts stay at a minimum to ensure that it does not affect their work.
Thus, as a nurse, relationship motivated leadership is important since it helps in exercising effective care in the organization.
