Background The history of the 519 was first established as a community centre for the North Jarvis Community and was used as a space for gay youth in 1976 to conduct a program controlled by the community. Additionally, The 519 became a safe haven for LGBTQ groups during 1982 when Toronto police were conducting bathhouse raids throughout the city. During the 80’s and 90 's, the 519 opened a support group for gay people of colour and requesting benefits to same-sex spouses. The 519 has partnered with many organizations throughout the years such as Toronto District School Board to disclose positive knowledge about children with queer parents, also with the city of Toronto to make sure long-term care homes are LGBTQ friendly.

The MCDSS has a variety of services in the county including the cities of Salinas, King City and Seaside. This paper explores three health organization services that include: Washington Hospital Healthcare System (WHHS) - Fremont, Kaiser Permanente - Fremont, and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital and will discuss the description and services that the HSO provides, their mission statement, and description of the HSO management. I have a 2.65 GPA currently before I transferred to SGU I had a 3.0 GPA. I believe moving off campus will help me promote the mission because it will help me focus on what matters the most to me which is my academics, communal, and spiritual growth as a Christian. Before I came to SGU I had great grades, doing things for the community, and being able to be with my local church. I wasn't living on campus while at my last school so I could focus more on my school and God. I will explain why this is important to me and for my life to live off campus.

Growing up in a small, rural community the majority of the population was uninsured and underserved. Access to primary healthcare was limited with most physicians’ offices being close to an hour drive one way. I grew up seeing both of my parents work two jobs and still having to make the decision to put their health on the back burner due to lack of finances or insufficient insurance coverage. This often led to numerous emergency department visits because of the lack of access to a primary care physician who could have provided preventative care. This was not only an issue within my home but throughout the town.
Mission Statement: The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) serves as a means to help protect the health of all Americans and their environment. In their efforts to do so the EPA 's purpose is to protect U.S. citizens from being exposed to possible health issues in all aspects of their lives, whether it be at home, school, or even work. These efforts are being made all over the U.S. to try and reduce external costs on U.S. citizens, by using the best info available to the EPA about health risks. Not only is the EPA advocating for the protection of the environment, but U.S. policies are having a larger presence of reforms that concern every aspect of the environment, ranging from natural resources to energy and transportation.
