Have you ever thought about why people get cancer and have to suffer? My mother has recently been diagnosed with cancer prior to my senior year starting. It was hard to deal with but I managed to stay strong by acknowledging positivity and by understanding “ When pride comes, comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom .” It has affected me in many ways such as, giving me a new perspective on life.
Positivity is the key to surviving cancer. People don’t realize that with cancer you have to remain strong and not get depressed. Cancer affects everyone not just the person who has it. Pride is a huge thing biblically. Pride is not something to be proud of, it shows that you care about no one else except for yourself. You’re not supposed to live that way, you want to care about people and them care about you as well. Disgrace is also very bad biblically you can lose respect based off your actions. As it says “ When pride comes, comes disgrace .” If you have too much pride, people will start to notice and you will lose your reputation. Disgrace is like a rumor, if someone talks bad about you and everyone finds out, you may lose respect from those certain people ; It might not matter if you have too much pride, because you won’t care about other people, just yourself. Never have too much pride not to care about people, because then disgrace will rise upon you. “ With the humble comes wisdom.” Remaining humble has a big impact on your life. You know that you will receive everything that is meant for yourself to have. If you realize you can’t control everything you will seek wisdom which is very important.
This has affected me in many ways such as, giving me a new perspective on life. I understand you can’t control everything that goes on in your life, you just have to accept it and move on. I also learned, never give up. Seeing my mother struggle is the worst, but I know I have to remain happy. The last thing
