The problem of pit bulls
Have you ever wondered why pit bulls are labeled as vicious and dangerous? "For as long as we can remember, pit bulls (otherwise known as the American Staffordshire Terrier) have been feared and loathed by many members of the public. Due to stereotyping, pit bulls have earned a reputation for always displaying aggressive and unpredictable behavior that is widely believed by society and the media. Many shocking pitbull attacks toward other dogs or people have made the news over the years, further embedding the idea that pit bulls are dangerous." said Benjamin H. Pit bull owners should be able to keep their pets.
Another reason we should be able to keep pit bulls as pets is that pit bulls can seem dangerous but not all are. Most are these sweet little helpless animals. Not all of them are badly behaved.According to, Michaela Berger, Many people say that dogs are vicious wild animals. Pit bulls are great examples of these pets. While some of them can be tough animals, many of them are super sweet, caring, and compassionate dogs. This breed in particular matters to me because I have seen ugly, stereotypical “dangerous” pit bulls in the media, but I know they are not true. I have a pit bull of my own that counteracts these negative things. I have met so many pit bulls who are kind, loving, and loyal.This is just one more person out of many that believe that pit bulls should be kept as pets. I am one of those people as well.
