I think softball is one of the hardest sports to learn and play. Softball is a really complicated sport you have all the positions and rules so lets go over the positions. You have Pitcher, catcher,1st base,2nd base,3rd base, short stop, left fielder, Center fielder and right fielder. All the positions are very important. Your pitcher and your catcher are the most important spots. Your pitcher stands on the pitching rubber and pitches to the batter and the catcher. Now lets go over the basics of softball.
Softball is played with 6 players on the infield and then 3 players in the outfield, you have 9 players all together on the field. Your pitcher must pitch under hand. You play until you get 3 outs. You have 2 batter boxes for right handed batters and left handed batters, Your catcher stands behind the batter and behind home plate to catch the pitches. Your batter hits until they hit the ball in fair territory.

A strike is called when the batter fails to hit the ball or it is called when you don’t swing and it is in the strike zone. If you hit the ball out of fair territory it is called as a fowl ball and counted as a strike. Once you get three strikes you are out. The first basemen is the one on first base and is trying to catch the ball and get the batter out. The 2nd,3rd, and short stop are trying to stop the ball then throw the ball to the 1st basemen.
