Failure for Moorestown girls lacrosse is not an option. This powerhouse lacrosse program had a winning streak of eighty-eight consecutive games. My sophomore year the program experienced their first loss in what seemed like forever. Continuously, the timer on the scoreboard got closer to triple zeros, everyone’s hearts went into their throats anticipating the end. The opposing team was up by one and were stalling the ball.

Prosecutors are considered by many to be the most powerful actors in the courtroom proceedings as they follow the case from the time of arrest to the sentencing. Prosecutors have a lot of discretion in the justice process as they are the ones who decide: Do I prosecute? Who do I prosecute?

In the spring of my freshman year at Newman, I was approached with the opportunity to study French III in my sophomore year. College football is a large league made up of 130 teams fielded by college, universities, and academies and the players can stretch into triple digits. These teams are split into 10 different conferences. It can last up to 1-4 years, depending on what college you attend and how good you are. A defensive holding penalty is 10 yards in college football.

Before playing lacrosse, I was not committed to doing anything. I lacked discipline and it showed throughout my daily life. For example, during the years I was in elementary school I would be placed into low-skill level classes, goofing off, and having complete disregard for my future. It wasn’t until I started playing lacrosse that I saw how important it was to take academics seriously.
