I.Americas favorite food A. AGD- Most people think of apple pie as America’s favorite food. However pizza has taken over and pushed apple pie aside. Would you believe American’s eat approximately 100 acres of pizza each day?*

B. RA- Each man, woman and child in America eats an average of 46 slices (23 pounds) of pizza a year. Wouldn’t it be great if we could create our dream pizza in our own home, making it just the way we want it and saving money at the same time. Since 300 billion people enjoy pizza lets take a deeper look into it.*

1. The earliest form of pizza was a crude bread that was baked beneath the stones of a fire. After cooking they seasoned it with an assortment of different toppings and spices. Around 521-486 B.C. the Persian soldiers baked a kind of flat bread and topped it off with cheese and dates. 2. All of the ingredients came from all different places around the world.
