I chose Prairie View A&M University not only because of how historical the university is but, because of the outstanding number of students that have graduated from the college of nursing. Also, because I was chosen to be a part of the phenomenal dance team known as the Black foxes, then I decided that prairie view was the perfect school for me. After making this decision, things just started falling into place more and more each day. Prairie View has given me numerous opportunities as well as being offered the Target academic scholarship. As generous as the scholarship is it’s still not enough to cover the cost of attendance at Prairie view.
In his article “the Common app Fallacy” written in 2008, Damon Beres having been a freshman student in New York University in 2007, criticizes the college board for encouraging the trend of using the common application in the college application process throughout the US. His main purpose is to persuade the readers, who are clearly the college students, to stop applying for whatever colleges they find and to start searching instead for a limited number of schools that they feel are more interesting for them. The author also encourages the colleges to abandon the common application so that they grant admission to those who really deserve it. Even though Beres showed facts and logical arguments rather than statistics that prove his ideas, one
Good Afternoon Mike, I was told to contact you regarding Santa Fe College transferring in credits that I obtained for ACE credits. After speaking to Mary Thames in Health Services Department as well as Jackie (lead transcript evaluator) I was informed this morning that the college will not accept my credits because they were not obtained from a regionally accredited college. I am so incredibly saddened and disappointed with this news. It 's truly like ripping the floor right out from underneath me.
During my junior year of high school, I became enrolled in multiple different classes through CCCC. Throughout both my junior and senior year I have been
Trivium requires students to graduate and complete their high school education due to the fact that it is mandatory, while SBBCollege is optional for those who wish to obtain a degree. The method of instruction at Trivium consists of a classical foundation with the use of online learning as opposed to SBBCollege where a traditional education is offered. Additionally, restriction in course scheduling in college is unlike a blended high school since courses are arranged in advance. Clearly, the tuition for each institution differs as Trivium is free to the public while SBBCollege requires tuition to complete one’s college career.

We live in an exciting new time where we people interact more and more with each other. Our world looks drastically different than it did two hundred years ago, were Britain first started to set the multi-cultural gears in motion with our ancestor’s colonization and international trading with the world. There’s a number on the bottom of the paper for me to call, and I decide to call, nervous but excited about what this could possibly mean. I dial the number and after a few seconds of phone line ringing, a UT admissions worker picks up. I mention the certificate and immediately the worker says “I’ll put you through.” I wait for a few seconds wondering what just
Would you want to live in fear? Especially at a place that you feel safe. A place that you are required to go to by law. A place that children roam the hallways, learning and having fun. Can you imagine, going to this place every day, until one.
