Ink Drinker Jaten is also known as chicken little; he is 13 years old. His dad is the owner of a book store. Jaten is short, skinny, extremely strong, and is only five foot tall. He spends most of his time at the bookstore because he is a ink drinker, (he drinks ink) and he actually likes it. He goes to his dad's book store and drinks 1 book each day. His dad is ordering more and more books every day. Nobody knows about him being a ink drinker, and he does not know how to keep it a secret from everyone at school when it starts. He will have to be extra careful at school to not let anyone know about him being an ink drinker! Jaten always goes and talks with the original ink drinker. Jaten tries to find out cheats for drinking the ink, but it never works out for him. His dad almost found out just the other day. He was outside drinking a book and he did not know his dad was near him so he carried on with his book drinking project for school tomorrow . His dad walked over there and asked him what he was doing, so Jaten covered up really fast. He was very tired that day. He got ready for school and he took the drakulink book to school with him and read it very slowly; for some very weird reason because he usually read very fast. He figured out that if you don't get some ink in your body it will start to shut down. He got very scared because his teacher would not let him go to the library every single day. He figured out that he will be able to go once a week. He would be dead before then, so he asked if he finished a book early if he could go to the library. She said “Not to go every day, but if he needed to, he could go after school”. That helped him out a lot. The next day he got three books to drink, but he did not finish the book in one day he drank three to four chapters each
