With the development of technology, education has changed dramatically. In this paper, I will select and analyze inquiries 4 and 7 from this week's reading resource "Integrating literacy and technology: effective practice for grades K-6" (Watts-Taffe & Gwinn, 2007). The artifacts from these inquiries will also be shared in an appendix. I will then evaluate my journey through these readings.
What would these two inquiries be? Watts-Taffe and Gwinn(2007) show the following:
Inquiry 4: Planning for literacy-technology integration.
Inquiry7: The teacher as a change agent in the literacy-technology learning environment.
An Analysis of two inquiries
First, inquiry 4 is very meaningful to my understanding of what and how to teach. In applying

This is because my school is just beginning to integrate technology into the curriculum, and inquiry7 allows me to understand how I, as a teacher, will engage in classroom practices that use technology. According to Watts-Taffe and Gwinn(2007), integrating technology with literacy requires teachers to be reflective as well as committed to professional development. In addition, the rapidly changing nature of technology makes ongoing professional development further important (Watts-Taffe & Gwinn, 2007). This means that teachers need to engage in reflection about their classroom practices, develop good communication with colleagues and students, and engage in professional development. I believe that Inquiry 7 will greatly advance my teaching practice. This is because by reflecting on each lesson, I can become aware of what was good and what was lacking and make corrections for the next lesson. Teachers need to implement effective and developmental programs for all learners and reflect on curriculum, teaching and learning principles, and assessment (Fullan, 1993). We need to constantly reflect on our teaching practices, accept challenges, and work to overcome them. I believe that reflection and revision can have a positive impact not only on the teacher but on the student as well. In Inquiry 7, Exploration and Questioning, I reflected on my April project on living creatures of the tidal flats (Appendix G). Here, we used Google Search as a technology application, and the students were active and enjoyed the search process. However, because I did not specify a search site, the students took a very long time to search and had difficulty finding the correct information from the overflow of information. What I gained from this lesson is the importance of specifying a Google search site. In a future classroom, I would like to pre-prepare several search sites for the children and allow the students to search freely among
