Brouwer & Messersmith (2013) presented effective supervision structures and considerations in an interdisciplinary clinical model. They wanted to find out the integrated service delivery and the utilization of multiple clinical roles. Clinicians from both disciplines should be elaborate during clinical sessions since the goals rehabilitation and speech-language interventions may protrude. It is likely that both clinicians may go up against the part of being main service provider, at the same time giving criticism and response towards clinical goals. For instance, both clinicians might be similarly included during a coordinated session with a child in which the goal is to provide frequent exposure to intervention targets within a realistic setting.
