Description
Intergenerational Learning Programme is students who from DCU to teach older people ICT skills, it helps their life more convenience and rich their knowledge. The timeline is start on 10am to 1pm(3 hours) one-hour tea break on business café in every Saturday.
From the Saturday modules, which have 3 different areas: social media, mobile devise and Internet skills. I joined mobile devise, it teaches them how to use mobile and iPad basic on Android & IOS system. It will lead older people, and teach them how to use smart phone, like email, Google map, moreover will introduce some platform for them, such as Dublin Bus. Moreover we heard some stories about older people who attended this course. What is their feeling and what did they do and learning of the course. After that, we took the one-hour break and then we went to the classroom. Robert and Brian are our leader who responsible for management this class.
