The story of paul's case is a complex story with its internal and external issue and or conflicts Paul in the beginning of the story was a unreadable guy. He was called into schools office to face his teachers and principal. Here's where some external conflicts happen Everyone in that school know paul to be a big liar and can't be trusted to tell the truth. Paul wasn't scared or bothered by the fact that his teachers were yelling at him and calling him a bad guy. “His teachers felt this afternoon that his whole attitude was symbolized by his shrug and his flippantly red carnation flower, and they fell upon him without mercy, his English teacher leading the pack”. This is where he would spend his time working talking to the other guys that were actors at the time. He was happy but as soon he leave he would feel all those external conflicts kick in. He would rather sneak into the basement than face his father or look at his ugly sleeping area. His father doesn't want paul to work at the theater anymore.His father takes his only light way the reason why he believes he alive for. As Paul's family goes away paul use the money that his family had and went to new york to live it up like the singing women he stalked. He lived it up he got the most expensive hotel and had a expensive lifestyle. The fun ended with words that paul's father was on his way to get paul.”The rumor had reached Pittsburgh that the boy had been seen in a New York hotel, and his father had gone East to find him and bring him home”.
