International Students have varied educational experiences, competencies, skills and different family and community backgrounds. All these individual and social characteristics influence an individual student’s integration and performance in higher education. The international students who are confronting new place and study environment may face tremendous difficulties. There are many factors and challenges that can affect and influence an international student’s academic performance and these factors sometime pose a challenge to them. The clearly defined objectives instruct the way in which the researchers have to proceed. Objective shows the certain path to headway the researchers and makes way to find out the solution of the problem. Objective is the path through which we can get out to succeed. So, as a tool, I have made some objectives, to get direction to identify the solutions to my research problems. My research objectives are as follows:
• To find out the key challenges of international students
• To identify international student’s perception and key barriers to academic learning
• To determine the strengths and weaknesses of Niels Brock college from international students’ perspective
• To make suggestions based on findings from the research study to help wellbeing of international students
