I have strong convictions that lead me to believe that a college is imperative. I am led to believe this because, during the recession, jobs requiring college degrees grew, while jobs not requiring college degree declined. Also college graduates have a plethora of opportunities to better and more enhance careers, while people without a college degree can only choose from a minimum number of jobs. In the Article “Is College Worth It?” by Henry Punionion he enclates the insistence of a college education. Primarily, based on the economy and jobs projections, approximately more than half of jobs will require some college education or a degree. Many people with a college degree are striving in today's society. While people who do not have a college degree, are fighting for a job. Students who do not have a college degree, will spend as much time looking for job as college would take since a majority of jobs are for college degree students. People with a college degree have more access to technology, greater autonomy, and ability to enhance skills compared to high school graduates.
