Introduction
This paper will define the reason that prompted Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) to use collaboration technologies. Next this author will Identify the platform that IAL chose as an online portal and content management system, and describe the main reasons) why IAL chose such a specific platform. Tis paper will discuss the significant attributes of a wiki, and describe the overall manner in which IAL uses wikis for its internal collaboration. Lastly this author will define the challenges that IAL could face when implementing groupware, and suggest one (1) step that IAL could take in order to mitigate the challenges in question.
What prompted Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) to use collaboration technologies
What is a collaborate system in it? A collaboration system is an IT based set of tools that that create a workflow of information to specific teams and the members. This allows individual to share ideas and their talents with other members so that the task can be finished both efficiently and effectively. So why did Isuzu change, what was happening in Australia. First, Isuzu was selling trucks, ready to use trucks for the population. Second the business is being drive by 65 employees running Isuzu marketing and distribution of its trucks through its National Dealer Network to maintain its position.
