Are you ready for change or do you just want to wait around while the World and our country goes down the drain? Well than fight the good fight and vote Jalisa Johns to be your President in the 2020 election. She promises to help create a better world for our children, a world filled with “Love, Peace, and Happiness.” Only good can come from these things, and your soon-to-be president knows this to be true. Jalisa Johns will help to make our country a better place, because she will give out foreign aid and tighten laws in our country to keep our world cleaner, she will make changes to our education system, and she will help resolve huge problems that we have as a country. First when asked what she believes what needs to be changed most in society today she said, “Gun violence, racism and hate.” If guns were harder to acquire in America than we would see less gun related violence. Also adding more security in public and private places would help to protect people from any type of violence. She believes that we have not come far as a country in terms of racism, sexism and hate speech “because it all still exists. There may not be slavery but hate crimes (including genocides) still happen because of hatred towards races and sexes.” This is one of the biggest problems in the United States; hate crimes and racism. Like Jalisa Johns favorite person of history MLK Jr. said “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” This country must learn to love each other more and help with the problems that are being faced here, and that is what she plans on doing. She will create more programs for people that suffer from problems like Homeless Vets. Almost forty thousand of the people that were sent away to fight and protect America so the people of the U.S can be safe, are not safe themselves. The U.S.A owes it to these Vets to create programs that will help them with their basic needs, but also with their mental/physical health needs as well. She also plans on tackling problems with child welfare. Many children suffer from the following problems Adolescent pregnancy, substance abuse, child abuse/neglect, homelessness, mental health problems, adequacy of foster care services, adequacy of adoption services, children without health care coverage, and lack of early childhood education. Some of these problems can be dealt with by making programs in schools for children to attend schools which will actively engage with children. Keeping the future of the country healthy should be a main goal of
