Dear Mrs. and Mr. Hanlon. Hello, my name is, Cole Tobias, I am a 7th grader at Lincoln Middle School. My Language Arts class recently read the book A Long Walk to Water by Linda Sue Park. It is a biography about Salva Dut, and a fictional girl named Nya, while Nya is walking for water twice a day for eight hours, Salva is running from the Sudanese Civil War. After walking to many different refugee camps, he was relocated to America, where he got the shocking email that his father was still alive, but very sick.
