It was heavily raining outside. Brown firewood were burning with blue flame inside the stove. Jane, sitting on a bunk bed glazing the window with raindrops on, recalled her memories that exactly happened 20 years ago. The weather was identical as the day her sister had gone away from her family. Jane even remembers the exact date. July 19th of 1988, it is the date of which everything started. The date her and Jean, her sister’s life dramatically changed. Jane, with a single cup of hot coffee, gently closed her eyes trying to recall her days with Jean. Jean and Jane were twins. Jane truly loved her sister. The letter was just sent by her peer who used to be in same class with the twins. Even though Jane had consistently warned her peer not to make fun of Jean, she was the only one who kept bullying her twin sister. Whatever the reason is, Jane felt both anger and grief to her twin’s unexpected suicide. Radio was still on. Music was being played as well. Jane slowly glazed the radio. She was aware of how much Jean loved those small machines. Every 19th, Jane bought new radios. Hoping Jean would come back to her, Jane’s room was getting occupied of radios. She had to deal with those. Jane just could not leave them in her room. Jane decided to build a small art work. Art work was just a collection of random radios. Initially, the aim of the piece was just to commemorate Jean. However, Jane wanted to demonstrate something more. Jane started to consider about the motivation of the art work. Radios that Jane had collected all differed; size, mass, volume, color… Ironically, those all different radios formed a perfect harmony when those were gathered. Difference between them didn’t matter at all.
