On 3/29/2016 I spoke with Leahanne Garcia at the operation. Leahanne stated she has been employed at the operation since May 2015 as a Teacher assistant. Leahanne stated on Wednesday (3/23) that the children had just woken up from nap and Andi was leading circle time, while she was moving the block center shelf back to its position. She stated the children had started to get up from the rug for center time when she heard Andi yelling "get up, get up" and was yanking Isiah up by his arm. Andi then started telling him "you will listen to me" while pointing a finger in his face.

In the essay, “Class in the Classroom”, Joshua Halberstam presents various ways through which students can perform better at the college, in my perspective, the best rhetorical strategy in his writing is dealing with the boredom; it makes the guidance more effective as well as humor. For example, in case the student has to take the subject other than their program of study, they may feel bored, however, the student should be happy because they are contributing their time, and also they are gaining knowledge. The student has to be knowledgeable not only in one subject matter but also in another field, it’s the fact which Halberstam is trying to show positively among the readers. No, the level of arousal is balance. Mr.Scherrer uses a varity of differnt stratgies to energize his students and keep arousal from being too low. Mr. Scherrer has his students read the task/ question alound and then has them restate the task in their own words. Mr. Scherrer is also checking for his students understandingby asking them to raise their thumbs in agreement or disagreement prenting to their understandiing of the problem. Therefore, by Mr. Scherrer using these stratgies he is keeping the arousal in his classroom from being to high.

Throughout their lifetimes, people go through a change in identity, which despite not being physical it changes them morally and emotionally, as well as influencing their actions. Sherman Alexie capitalizes off of this with his novel, The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian (ATDPTI), which follows Junior, a boy from a Native American reservation, who switches to a school in a nearby town, which is known for being racist towards his culture; Junior changes through the novel, and develops a true sense of his own identity, giving the work a prominent theme. Zitkala-Sa’s School Days of an Indian Girl follows a young Native American girl in the late 1800s, who is forced away from her family and sent to a boarding school built to strip them of their culture, and encounters drastic change similar to Junior. Sherman Alexie addresses the impact of one 's positive change in identity by giving his protagonist a character and goal or character to surpass; he does this by creating two similar characters, giving his protagonist a goal, and by showing a concluding comparison.

Looking at a photograph one is immediately intrigued. After studying the composition of the photo its meaning comes to mind, one begins to wonder why such a photo was taken. The overall meaning will have different effects depending on the viewer, but one must wonder again.
