Often in society, social norms have a massive impact on the way people act and react, which leads to unrealistic standards. Romeo and Juliet is a play written by William Shakespeare about a tragedy between two forbidden lovers. In Romeo and Juliet, there are two families, the Capulets and the Montagues, who are in constant rivalry. Romeo and Juliet are unfortunately a part of the different family, which causes a split between their newly found love for each other. The rivalry causes Romeo and Juliet to have to hide their relationship from their family, but sadly this leads to the downfall of both of them and their families.
