Julius Caesar was born on July 12, 100 BC in Rome, Italy. He was born three days before Ides. He was the leader of the Roman Republic which was later transformed to the Roman Empire. Julius fought in many battles and he became a dictator, but it didn’t last very long. He had two sisters named Julia Minor and Julia Caesaris. When Julius was only a youth his father Gaius Caesar died, and he created a great bond with his mother Aurelia. Julius Caesar had some rocky relationships. He married Cornelia who was the daughter of a lord in 84 BC. The couple end up having a daughter named Julia Caesaris in 76 BC. Sadly, Cornelia pasted away. Julius also had a son named Caesarion.
