Julius Caesar grew up with a noble family, but the Roman Republic became politically chaotic and at war with neighboring tribes and groups. He took the opportunity to seize the moment and rise to power. Julius Caesar worked hard, rose in the political field from youth, and gathered experience to become Rome's eventual leader. Born into a noble family on what historians estimate to be either the 12th or 13th of 100 B.C.E., Julius Caesar was born into a war-stricken, falling Roman Republic. Rome is in its roughest patch with its current leaders and political chaos. As Julius Caesar grew up, he was drawn to the political system and aspired to become a ruler. Julius Caesar began his political and ruling career by becoming the governor of Spain, a Roman province. His governorship became his first experience with ruling and being a high political figure. As his time in power grew, he attempted and successfully formed multiple political alliances. He grew in military power and succeeded in eight years of governorship of multiple provinces and tribes with his Roman troops. After several victorious battles and political influence, he eventually returned to Italy and the central city of Rome, where he solidified his power through family ties and the riches he had accumulated over his years of …show more content…
