Julius Caesar is known for his many accomplishments and was known for being the best emperor in Rome for a long time. He was really important to the Roman expansion and helped with Romes military. Without him Rome would have never been the same. Julius Caesar helped form the Roman Empire by taking a large of territory because of his skill sets that he has.

He received military training at a young age and gained experience by being a soldier. Caesar had many tactics that he was known for. A tactic used by Caesar was the suppression of rebels by besieging their camps until they ran out of food and water. (“Julius Caesar's Military Tactics”). He managed to take a large amount of land with his skills in the military. He knew how to treat his troops and how to train them so they could be at their best. His personality and mentality helped him be able to control his troops. Caesar's victories in Gaul brought him great wealth and prestige, and he used his success to build a loyal army and gain political power in Rome. Julius Caesar began his rise to power “in 60 B.C.E. by forming an alliance with another general, Pompey, and a wealthy patrician, Crassus who helped him to gain influence and rise through the ranks of the Roman political system.
