This article talks about the struggles faced for photography business owners. The first struggle talked about is fluctuating income. It talks about how you are going to be busier sometimes of the year and you need to learn how to manage your money for the times you are not busy. This article like the other article talks about copyright issues. It says it is your choice to sign over the copyrights to your photos but you must think about the money you are losing and if you don’t sign them over there is still a choice that people copy them. The lawsuits for copyrights can get expensive and you never know who will win. Another point in the article is taking time off. As a photographer, it is hard to take time off because you need all the photo shoots you can get to maintain your business and hiring other photographers can be expensive and risky. The audience is people starting out or already owning a photography business. Maher first fear is thought of not being good enough or not having enough experience. He goes on to tell us that it is something we learn with time. Another thought is if you are charging the right amount of money. Maher pretty much puts it this way, if the amount of money is not worth your time then don’t do it. Another big thought that Maher brings up is will my equipment break?
