1. As a member of the CASHS Trojan Marching Band, it has been imperative that I have been exhibiting numerous key characteristics that reinforce my dedication to the band as a whole throughout my years in such a wonderful, musical family. As part of the leadership team this past, I have strived to be an admirable role model for not only the freshmen in my section, but also the middle school band students during band night. I have never missed a football game, and oftentimes I have arrived earlier and left later than required for band events so that I could help set things up or make sure everything is cleaned up.

2. During summer band rehearsals and band camp, much reassurance is needed by especially younger members of the band who are very new to such a large group of talented and unique individuals. As a drum major, it would be my duty to help maintain a positive, fun, and friendly atmosphere that makes everyone in the band feel welcome and included. Not only would I be tasked with keeping the peace within the band, but I would also tend to the more technical needs and assist in setting and cleaning up our facilities before, during, and after our practices.

The leadership team that the CASHS Trojan Marching Band has is crucial to structure of the entire band, and without it, a massive group of over one hundred people would be incredible difficult to for only one or a few people to keep track of. The drum majors in this team must work together with the other officers and helpers to allow the band to function as a band rather than just a bunch of individually moving parts.
