Post World War I, the era marked the beginning of modern times with new and worthy developments. More and more people were abetted to live in the cities, most people had jobs, therefore money to spend, and they spend it by “having a good time” (McNeese,88). While the society got rid of their miseries; sciences, arts, and businesses renewed themselves by evolving. There are many conspiracy theories that exist in our world today. A few examples include the planes crashing into the World Trade Centers on September 11, 2011, the Sandy Hook school shooting and the moon landing. A conspiracy theory is often defined as an event or situation that involves an illegal or harmful act by the government or some other powerful player. The term ‘conspiracy theory’ carries with it a derogatory connotation. I do not personally believe in the idea of conspiracy theories because I am someone that believes what the government has to say, although at times they are wrong.
