The one thought that comes to everyone's mind always turns out to be incorrect about this specific group. Korean Pop fans in America get so many misconceptions just because they listen to a different type of music with a different language. This is called a misconception, a view or an opinion that is incorrect about a person or a group. Korean Pop also known as K-Pop which is very popular in Korea, but now K-Pop is advancing and taking over the world piece by piece, and where there is an artist there is a fanbase. With the advances of K-Pop more fans are coming out and supporting their idols. However some K-Pop fans think differently, some agree with these misconceptions while others don’t. Whether someone is a fan of K-Pop or not, it’s better to know who these fans are really. While a misconception is a false statement about a person or thing..An example of a misconception is “All K-Pop fans are obsessed with Koreans guys.” The same example can be used as a misconception because it is a stereotype and a misconception. Misconceptions tend to start off by false information or just by seeing something that isn’t true. In order for someone to understand the other person they need to try to figure what information is true and what is false. Most misconceptions and stereotypes tend to start this way and they will always be this way unless people actually find out the truth. This doesn’t just go for K-Pop fans but for all the groups that get so many misconceptions. It’s time to find out who K-Pop fans really
