The 8th graders knew the game would be close after a narrow win previously at Green Co. Metcalfe started out hot outscoring Green 12-2 in the 1st quarter and powering the ball to the hole. However, the 2nd quarter was all Green Co. outscoring Metcalfe 16 - 2. The half-time score showed Metcalfe down 14 - 23. Rebounding was in favor of Green Co. with them pulling down 36 to Metcalfe’s 25.
In Green bay, Wisconsin, at a softball facility, on January 23rd, Seriena Dunaway was playing in a softball league. Dunaway was playing against Elite, her team 's biggest rival. The air was cool and the playing turf was rough and hard to run or slide on. The people in the crowd could see the tension. The music was loud and seemed out of place.

My sophomore year the program experienced their first loss in what seemed like forever. It is the fastest game played on two feet which excites the fans. There are 250,000+ players across the nation and it is played at over 600 colleges and 2,000 high schools. Men’s lacrosse is a full contact sport while the game of women's lacrosse is no contact and the rules are vastly different, and many women wish the sport was more like the men’s version of lacrosse. Campaign: Change the sport of lacrosse for woman I am proposing that women's lacrosse should involve more contact, and should alter the rules to do so.

And while the classics– football, soccer and baseball– have held our citizens' investment in an iron grip, a new sport has been growing steadily behind the scenes: lacrosse.
I started playing lacrosse as soon as I could walk. Since then, the game has become interwoven into who I am and I have developed a deep passion for it. Life tends to get stressful, whether It is constantly worrying about grades, due dates, or tests. As I handle all of the stress high school has to offer, I often forget about the kid inside me. Lacrosse allows me to bring out my inner kid.
The whistle blew and both teams began to viciously fight for the ball until our fallen drops of sweat created puddles on the field. Every time someone would attempt a goal, the entire world fell silent until the ball idly stopped short of entering the goal. This continued for a long, strenuous forty minutes, and my team was sure we had won by a one point victory, when, unexpectedly, the other team scored a goal. My heart and confidence shattered as I watched the ball fly into the open goal. I could not believe that we were now tied, all the hard work for nothing.
One of my best days was when my soccer team won the championship. I won several other championships ,but with other teams. This was my first season playing with this team. The major characters in this event were me, my teammates, my coaches and the parents. This event took place in a park at sanger during the summer.
