Love has very many appearances. It is a very common and desired emotion between generations and generations before us. For these generations, this feeling has been seriously misinterpreted by dull minds who can not seem to comprehend how an emotion as complicated as this one does not only have one right answer. This however, is not the case. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth have been known to have their fair share of romance within their blood lust and extreme impulses. He fights his battles, drives daggers through his enemies and more, all on his own. Except for deciding his enemies of course. However, Lady Macbeth is quite the opposite. Throughout the play, Lady Macbeth confides in her husband for everything. She tends to be very close knit to him and expresses her feelings for her rivals to him, but Macbeth does not seem to reciprocate the same for his wife. Macbeth has not been communicating with his wife on his bloody desires and is very dissociated with her. He does seek comfort from her however but never truly makes time for Lady Macbeth. For example, when Lady Macbeth is sleepwalking and expressing her anxious thoughts on their murders, her husband is nowhere to be seen. This feeling is clearly shown when he loses his humility and soul and becomes “something wicked” (Macbeth, IV. I, 45). He completely forgets about his wife and only chases power. “She should have died hereafter; there would have been a time for such a word. (Macbeth, V. V, 17-18). This response was when Macbeth had just been told that his wife had died. He, unemotionally and insensitively implied that if she had waited to die then he could have been there for her or even mourned her, because for some reason he thought it would not be right to mourn his wife, his other half at that time.
