Larry Nassar Former Michigan State University doctor, Larry Nassar, molested hundreds of young gymnasts while claiming that he was performing some kind of special treatment on them. Larry Nassar was sentenced to 40 to 175 years in prison after countless young women and boys came forward and spoke up about the heartless acts of Nassar. Judge Rosemarie Aquilina said to Nassar, “I just signed your death warrant” in Ingham County Circuit Court in Lansing, Michigan. The sources that I got my news articles from were Twitter, Mother Jones, CNN, and Common Dreams. This article was written by Common Dreams Staff and published by Common Dreams. The article describes how the father of 3 victims of larry nassar, tries to attack Nassar in court after being denied a minute alone with him. The article was bias because the author seemed to point to one side of the situation, which was the father’s side. The author used opinions in certain ways rather than facts which also makes me think this article was in fact bias. Out of the four news sources I read from, they were all credible and trustworthy. Each article came from a highly used news source and credible authors. One thing I learned was that not one of the articles was bias towards Nassar’s side. If the article was bias, they were always majorly against Larry Nassar and not for him. It would probably not be too good for the media company if they wrote articles about being on Nassar’s side. There are thousands of articles out about this subject right now and sometimes it is hard to dictate which ones are credible and which ones are false information.
